Fiona Tunnicliffe is the featured artist for July. This award winning potter is renown for her clay horses, cats and dogs.In fact-her repertoire runs to elephants,pigs,pigeons,tuis and the odd goat as well.
Fiona's style is distinctive and most appealing and each piece unique.Fiona will be in the gallery on Sunday July 11th 3-4pm to dicuss her work as part of Heritage Gallery's Arty Sunday Afternoon programme. Take this oportunity to meet this lovely lady and view her work. See her horse on page 161 of the latest issue of Life and Leisure magazine.
August 1st- Arty Sunday Afternoon- This month, three fabric artists will be in the gallery to discuss their different ways of working with fabric.
Gail Kelman creates cobweb wraps and scarves with felt and novelty yarns. Nynka Piebenga is a top weaver and Kate Hill hand prints silk scarves with a wonderful local flavour.
Jos Coufreur is our September exhibitor. His oils and acrylics have won him numerous awards including the Supreme Painting Award at the Auckland Easter Show. Jos will be the big attraction for the Arty Sunday Afternoon in August on the 5th 3-4pm-so this is your chance to see him in action .
